Eco Camp Drop-Off & Pick-Up Location Change this Friday!

It’s hard to believe we’re half way through our third week of Eco Camp! Time sure does fly when you’re gardening, hiking, cooking, swimming and generally having a tonne of fun 🙂

This Friday (July 24th) we’re moving our drop-off and pick-up locations to the Rennie Park Clubhouse/Ice Rink due to the closure of High Park for the Pan Am games.

How to get there:

TTC

For the subway get off a Runnymede Station and head south on Runnymede (crossing over Bloor) to Morningside Ave. Turn west onto Morningside and just around the corner you’ll see the path across the road into the park. Follow that path to the Clubhouse/Ice Rink.

For Streetcar/Bus take the 501 Queen Streetcar to Windemere Ave. Get off the streetcar and transfer to the 77 Swansea Bus. Take 77 Swansea North to the Morningside and Runnymede stop. Get off at Morningside and Runnymede and head south into the park to the Clubhouse/Ice Rink.

Walking/Biking 

The walk/bike from Runnymede Station to Rennie Park is about the same length as the walk from High Park Station to Grenadier Restaurant. Walk south on Runnymede Rd. until you reach Morningside Ave. turn west and just past the corner, across the street you’ll see the path into the park.

Walking/biking from the South end go north on Windemere Ave. to Walter Ave. Walk west on Walter Ave. until you reach Rennie Terrace and walk/bike south into the park from there.

Car

From Bloor turn south on Runnymede Rd., west on Morningside Ave. then south on Rennie Terrace. Take Rennie Terrace south into the park and the Clubhouse is near the parking lot.

From Queensway take Windemere Ave. north to Walter Ave. Go east on Walter then south on Rennie Terrace. The Clubhouse is near the parking lot.

From South Kingsway take Morningside Ave. east to Rennie Terrace, south on Rennie Terrace and the Clubhouse is near the parking lot.
