High Park and many of Toronto’s Discovery Walks are the basis for our active, hands-on Exploring Toronto Environmental Education Programs. Program Instructors lead classes through Toronto’s unique natural urban spaces. Each guided hike through High Park and along Toronto’s Discovery Walk Trails educates participants about Toronto’s natural environment and history while promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.
Programs are suitable for kindergarten to Grade 8 (please inquire for Secondary School Programs) and each hike is approximately 2 hours. The Exploring Toronto Program is available fall, winter and spring. Registration is done on a first come first served basis so don’t forget to register early! The cost is $6/student for a 1/2 day program and $11/student for a full day program.

Make sure you book early to ensure you get the date you need. Once you send in your Booking Form for school and group programs you will receive a confirmation form and a Teacher Information Package with directions and activities to get you prepared for your visit.
