High Park Eco Camp Base Camp Location

Our fun-filled Eco Camp program has the good fortune to be based out of one of the most amazing parks within the City of Toronto! High Park is a 161 hectare park that includes a variety of natural areas, gardens and Grenadier Pond. Your camper will have the opportunity to explore the majority of the park but their base camp will be the Children’s Garden and Children’s Teaching Kitchen.

For the 2013 summer camp season the High Park Eco Camp, junior, youth and Eco LIT campers will have morning drop-off at Picnic shelter #15 and afternoon pick-up at the Children’s Garden. The Eco Sprouts will be dropped off and picked up down at the Children’s Garden.

  • Picnic Shelter #15 is located near the swimming pool and baseball diamonds on Colborne Lodge Dr. (one-way northbound only).
  • The Children’s Garden is located at the south end of the park just north of Colborne Lodge and the park entrance from the Queensway. Click here for more detailed directions.

PLEASE NOTE:  the section of road from the Grenadier Restaurant to the Children’s Garden is one-way heading south.  If you are heading north on Colborne Lodge Dr. from the Queensway you will have to turn around at the Garden and head back south out the Queensway gate.

  1. Hi there,

I am interested in registering my son for Eco Sprouts (4 years old) sometime this summer. I can’t seem to register online. Can you let me know what weeks you still have availability?

    Thank you!

    Julie

    • Hi Julie,

At this point in time all our Eco Sprout weeks are full. You are welcome to put your son on the waitlist and we will call you if a space comes up!

Thanks for your interest in the Children’s Eco Programs,

      Robin
